Aisha Salifu

Aisha Salifu’s story shows the transformative impact of inclusive education for persons living with disability. She had an injection that left her severely physically disable at the hospital when she was young . But her disability did not stop her from pursuing her education . Aisha holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from the University of Education,Winneba. She believes in providing persons living with disability quality education,good health care and economic development. She believes Lack of accessibility to facilities,Discrimination and exclusion are some forms of barriers to the wellbeing of persons with disability and as Welfare Manager for the persons living with disability at Rural Smile Foundation, she is incharge of designing support systems to put Smile on the faces of persons living with disability within her jurisdiction and even beyond.
