UPDATE ON THE U.S AMBASSADOR’s SPECIAL SELF-HELP PROGRAM GRANT FOR SABONLINE COMMUNITY LIBRARY ,EJURA-ASHANTI
In January 2020, our Deputy Director ,Mr. Yayha Seidu won a Teacher Changemaker grant from EduSpot to start building of a reading Center at Sabonline with involvement of the community leaders such Assemblyman and Unit Community members of Sabonline , Municipal Assembly( 10 bags of Cement) , MP ( 3 packs of roofing sheets) and several other people who helped.
Fast forward in 2021, Rural Smile Foundation applied and won $1,895.00 grant from @U.S. Embassy Ghana 🇬🇭,Under the U.S. Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Program to furnish the facility.
It has since been commissioned and kids are happily going in there to learn , read and do their schoolwork.
