Australia High Commissioner, Gregory Andrews has called for an end to exclusion and abuse of elderly women in Northern Ghana 🇬🇭

On Thursday, 8th October,2020 , The Australian High Commissioner visited the Gnani Camp “ an alleged witch camp for elderly women “ in the Northern Region Ghana 🇬🇭.

In a Facebook post, The Australian High Commissioner , Gregory Andrews , called for Ghana to join him show people love and support to such elderly women who excluded and abused as “witches “

He posted as “ Exclusion and abuse of elderly women as so-called ‘witches’ is inhumane and un-Ghanaian. And it is neither Christian nor Muslim. These elderly women are Ghanaian mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunties and daughters. They deserve Ghana’s love and support. I showed mine at Gnani camp today.
