The group known as the COVID-19 Campaign Coalition, is a group volunteer organizations with a common purpose of providing comprehensive public education to the vulnerable communities/Groups within Ejura /Sekyedumase in The Ashanti region of Ghana 🇬🇭.
The group include , the Ghana Heath Service -Ejura/Sekyedumase, Red Cross Society, Concerned Youth of Ejura , Fighters league -Ejura Circle .

Sensitization time
The rest are , National Service Personnel Association-Ejura/Sekyedumase, Concerned Youth Of Mempeasem, Rural Smile Foundation and the Artiste Group also in Ejura .
In view of the Corona Virus Disease, on Thursday,19th March ,2020, these organizations met with the Health Directorate and other stakeholders within the community to get some training and sensitization about the disease .

Present at the event, the Municipal Health Director, Mr. Courage Anku expresses his joy for seeing young people availing themselves to volunteer in times such as this . He assured the group about his readiness to support the group to achieve its purpose.
The Convener , Mr . Abubakar Saddique also stated that , showing compassion at this critical moment is an obligation of all and as such , the group is always available to provide the needed public education to the people of Ejura/Sekyedumase to avoid any unforeseen situation.

Mr . Abubakar Saddique also called on individuals/NGOs/Government/philanthropist and other institutions to come to their aid and support them by way of Hand Sanitizers ,Gloves ,Nose mask 😷 as well as Cash support (MTN Mobile Money Number – 0241785951 – Rural Smile Foundation) to enable them work effectively.

*WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (COVID-19)*
1-COVID-19 is the disease caused by the new Coronavirus that emerged in China in December, 2019.
2-COVID-19 symptoms include cough, fever, and shortness of breath. COVID-19 can be severe, and some cases have caused death
3-The new Coronavirus can be spread from person to person
*PREVENTION*
A- Regular and thorough washing of hands with soap under running water and use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers
B- Avoid shaking of hands.
C- Keep a distance of at least two meters from a person with fever, cough, sneezing and difficulty in breathing.
D- It is advisable to be physically active, drink plenty of water, eat healthy, avoid stress and have enough sleep.
E- Stay home if you feel unwell with symptoms of fever, cough and difficulty in breathing
